Truco is a game of nerve as much as cards. Two teams of players trade tricks, and a call of truco raises the points for the hand. The other team can accept, refuse or raise, and every call is a bluff in one direction or another. Play Boom Games' Truco King Offline brings that to Android, with two modes: Truco and Truco Mineiro.

The rhythm of a hand

Each player holds three cards, and the strongest card in a trick wins it. Truco is about the card you play and the moment you play it. Holding the best card and calling early can win a hand you would otherwise lose, and holding a weak card and calling anyway is the bluff.

Two modes, one game

The studio names two modes. Truco is the classic version, and Truco Mineiro is the variant from Minas Gerais. The differences change how the raises go and how the points are scored, so read the in-game rules for the mode you choose before you start.

Why bluffing is fun offline

Truco rewards reading the table, and bots cannot read your face. In an offline app the bots play their hand and you play yours. That is the best way to try a bluff without losing face at the table, and to learn when the other side is bluffing you.
