There are a lot of card game apps, and most of them ask for something before you can play: an account, a connection, or a choice between ads and purchases. The apps below come from three studios. Not every studio says its apps are offline, so check each store listing for offline play. Use this list to choose a first app, not to crown a winner.

Single games

  • Lucky 9 Offline from Play Boom Games. A quick game where only the last digit of the total counts.
  • Hazari from Live Game Labs. Split thirteen cards into winning hands and race to 1000 points.
  • Tongits King Offline from Play Boom Games. A three-player rummy game with bots in the other seats.
  • Pusoy King from Play Boom Games. Thirteen cards, three hands, one winner.

Bundles

How to choose

Pick the game your table already knows. If nobody knows a game, pick the shortest one. If the group likes trying new games each week, pick a bundle. Read the store listing for offline play and for account requirements before you install.

Where to find the studios

Live Game Labs lists its games at livegameslab.com. Evonix Ventures lists its games at evonixventures.com. Play Boom Games has a page for each game at playboom.netlify.app.

If you want a checklist to run before any install, read choosing a card game app.

Questions people ask

What makes a card app worth installing?

Read the store listing for the word offline, check whether an account is needed, and look at whether ads or extras are sold. A game that works without a connection keeps your progress on the phone.

Which app should a beginner choose?

A single-game app is easiest to learn. Lucky 9 Offline is short and simple, and Lucky 9 rounds take minutes.

Which app suits a group that likes variety?

A bundle. Card Adda lists sixteen card games, and Masti ADDA lists 26 card and board games.

Which app suits bluffing fans?

Truco King Offline and Chatai Teen Patti both reward reading the table.

Do these apps use the studios' own sites?

Live Game Labs and Evonix Ventures list their games on their own sites. Play Boom has a page for each game on playboom.netlify.app.

Is any of this a ranking?

No. This is a list to help you choose, not a ranking of which app is best. Try the one that matches the game your table likes.
